Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali: The Epic has once again proven its timeless magic at the box office. The re-release of the iconic franchise stormed into cinemas across the world, grossing an estimated ₹18 crore worldwide on Day 1, setting an unprecedented benchmark for re-releases in Indian cinema.
In India alone, Baahubali: The Epic earned around ₹12.75 crore, which also includes ₹1.25 crore from Thursday’s paid previews. The Telugu version dominated collections, reaffirming the film’s massive fanbase in its home territory. Meanwhile, the Hindi and Tamil versions showed decent traction, expected to build momentum over the weekend.
Internationally too, the film drew large crowds. With ₹5.25 crore (USD 600K) coming in from overseas markets led by stellar numbers from the United States, where the film opened midweek with special previews- Baahubali: The Epic reaffirmed its global legacy as a cinematic phenomenon.
Nearly a decade after its first release, Baahubali: The Epic continues to captivate audiences and redefine box office history—proving that true legends don’t just return; they reignite.
